Volunteers

Volunteers

Volunteers are an important aspect of our Youth Recreation Programs and we cannot run them without great volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are available for parents, high school students, and other adults within the community that want to get involved in our programs. No experience is necessary to volunteer in our programs, however volunteers are held to a high standard, must be able to pass a background screen, and be able to fully commit to the program dates and requirements of the volunteer position.

Volunteer Opportunities

Youth Sports Coaches: Volunteer Youth Sports Coach positions are available for our Youth Soccer, Youth Flag Football, and Youth Cheerleading programs. Each team is allowed two coaches. All head coaches must be 18+. High school students may register as an assistant coach alongside another adult. In certain circumstances high school students may pair up to coach a team on their own under the supervision of an adult.

Recreation Program Assistant:  Volunteer Recreation Program Assistant positions are available for all of our school year programs to assist staff in running the program on site. This may include scorekeeping for youth sports, helping set up games, taking pictures, organizing groups of kids, and anything that may be needed to help run that program. These positions are availble for parents of kids in the program or high school students.

Summer Camp Assistant Camp Counselor: Volunteer Assistant Camp Counselor positions are available to high school students each summer for our summer camp program. These positions are enrolled during the Spring to get ready for the summer program starting in June. Students must commit to at least one week of summer camp and are able to request certain weeks of camp based on their availability. These positions are a great way to get a lot of fun volunteer hours in a short amount of time as well as to gain valuable experience to become a paid staff member if the opportunity arises.
