Gateway Center for the Arts

The Gateway Center is a City owned facility that is operated by non-profit Gateway Center for the Arts. Gateway Center for the Arts, a not-for-profit, grass roots organization, with a diverse membership of over 700 representing Debary, Deltona, Orange City, Enterprise, Osteen, and other Volusia county locations as well as Orlando, Winter Park, Sanford, and Daytona Beach areas. It incorporated in 1998 with 67 members and an expressed purpose to build a “center for the arts” in its By-laws. It dedicated it’s program to serve children and adults in our communities by bringing cultural awareness to an under served community, southwest Volusia County.

RENTALS

The City of DeBary rents the facility for private parties, celebrations, events or meetings. Call 386-601-0206 to check availability. To rent the facility come to City Hall during regular business hours M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm. Rental times must include set up and clean up time. We accept Credit Card or Check for rental payment. $150 Refundable security deposit must be a separate check.

The hourly rates below are for private parties, celebrations, events or meetings rented through the City of DeBary. If you are interested in a stage production, contact Gateway Center for the Arts, Inc. (rates may vary)

Tables and chairs are limited.

$150 refundable security deposit on all rentals. All deposits must be made with a separate check at time of payment. Rental payment can be made in check or credit card. Both the deposit and the payment must be made at the time of rental to book the facility. We do not hold the facility without full payment and security deposit.

Minimum 2 hour rental. Hours of rental include the time it takes you to set-up and break-down the event. All rentals must take place between 9:00am and 11:00pm.

All Gateway facility rentals are two hour minimum and must take place between 9:00am and 11:00pm. Rental time includes set up and break down.

The Gateway Center is closed during the Summer (Memorial Day - Mid August) for the Gateway Center for the Arts Summer Camp program.

REFUND POLICY: All refund requests must be made within 72 hours of the rental date. Please allow two to 1-2 weeks for processing of all refunds. $10 service fee charged for any check refunds.

Rentals for the facility must be made in person at least 30 days in advance of your rental date at City Hall(16 Colomba Rd.) M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm. Tours of the facility available by appointment only. For more information please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (386) 601-0206

Gateway Center for the Arts is located right next to Gateway Park at 880 HWY 17, DeBary, FL 32713. Hours of Operation are Tuesday-Friday 10am - 4:00pm. Monday by appointment only. Open weekends for scheduled programs and events only.
