Photograph Submissions

GUIDELINES FOR PHOTOGRAPHS

The City of DeBary appreciates your photo submissions. They are an important aspect of our mission to keep our City’s website current. Please consider the following with respect to photo submissions:

Most important: Submitted photos must be exclusive. The same photos that you submit to The City of DeBary should not be submitted to ANY other online or printed media.
Please DO NOT send links to Web sites; we do not accept links as a form of submission.
We request that ALL submissions be sent electronically via e-mail when possible.
Submit scanned or digital photos using the following format; failure to follow the guidelines below may cause your submission to be rejected.

Photos that violate or infringe upon another person's rights, including but not limited to the copyright, are not eligible.
Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent, or other objectionable or inappropriate content, as determined by the City of DeBary in its sole discretion, are ineligible
Photos should not be of a specific person
Photos should focus on events, parks, and other general subjects
Minimum Image Resolution: 300 DPI (dots per inch)
Minimum  Preferred Image Size: 1080 x 720
Preferred File Format: JPEG
File size should be less than 7MB
Preferred Submission Format: e-mail Eric Frankton at Efrankton@debary.org 
Included Information: Your contact information (name and e-mail address) and a brief overview of the photo (event or location and when the photo was taken).

After your submission is sent:

Please be patient a careful review takes time.
If possible, a response will be sent regardless if your photo is selected to be used on the website.
We do not compensate for photos that are, submitted, used or unused.
The photos become propriety of the City of DeBary to use as they see fit.
The City may alter the photo to best fit the website (cropping, brightness, and contrast).

Should you, for any reason, wish your photographs or Content to be removed from the Site, we will make every effort to do so in a timely manner.
