PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER – LEVEL 1

The City of DeBary is accepting applications for a Parks Maintenance Worker – Level 1. Under direct supervision, the maintenance worker performs maintenance functions for all parks manual labor tasks and duties. Maintenance of park grounds and facilities include, but not limited to lawns, athletic facilities, foot paths, trails, roads, common areas, park buildings, utilities, etc.

The ideal candidate will possess a High school graduate or GED with minimum of six (6) months of directly related experience in general labor using appropriate tools and/or equipment. Ball field and athletic turf maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Possession of and ability to maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's License is required. Applicants selected for employment must pass a criminal background check and drug test. The salary range for this exempt full-time position is $29,000.00 to $41,347.07 with a competitive benefit package. The complete job description is available at www.debary.org.
