SEASONAL SUMMER CAMP COUNSELORS

Ahhh, the Dog Days of Summer.  Do you remember when school was out and the world was your oyster?  You could swim and play all day?  If you want to feel like a kid again and make new friends, have we got a job for you! 

The City of DeBary is accepting applications for Lead Summer Camp Counselors to lead, supervise, and plan a variety of activities for children in second to sixth grade. Not only do you get to have fun EVERY DAY, but there are also field trips!  They may include Andretti Karting, the Wild Florida Safari, Laser Tag, Bowling, and Roller Skating!  When I say you CAN work and have fun, I was not kidding. 

The hours are pretty cool, too – the majority of work is performed outdoors and the approximate hours are 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday from June 13 through August 5. 

Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school or GED and two years of experience in school, summer camp or child care setting. Applicants selected for employment must pass a criminal background check and Level 2 national fingerprint-based records check. The complete job description is available at www.debary.org.
