Maintenance Worker – STORMWATER DIVISION

The City of DeBary is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department Stormwater Division. The selected candidate will assist with stormwater system inspections, maintenance and repairs and be able to operate/utilize a variety of equipment and hand tools associated with semi-skilled work activities, and will be required to perform heavy physical labor in all types of weather conditions. Minimum qualification requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six (6) months of directly related experience in general labor using appropriate tools and/or equipment. Background in stormwater construction or repairs preferred. The hourly pay range for this non-exempt full-time position is $15.85 to $17.44 with a competitive benefit package.
