Maintenance Worker I -- Parks & Recreation

The City of DeBary has an available position in its Parks and Recreation Department for a Maintenance Worker I to perform a variety of manual labor functions for park grounds and facilities maintenance including lawns, athletic facilities, foot paths, trails, roads, common areas, and park buildings. If you love the outdoor and making public spaces beautiful and enjoyable, remember, “It Starts In Parks.” Experience in grounds keeping or landscaping maintenance preferred.

Minimum requirements include graduation from high school or a GED, six (6) months of directly related experience in general labor using appropriate tools and equipment, and possession of a valid Florida driver license with an acceptable driving record. The hourly pay range for this non-exempt full-time position is $14.25 to $21.38, depending upon experience. DeBary offers a very competitive benefits package.
