Communications & Marketing Intern

Communications Intern\Social Media\Marketing:   The City of DeBary is actively seeking an intern for our Communications Department.  This is a part-time, temporary position beginning in mid-January for a period of 8 – 12 weeks, approximately 24 hours per week at a rate of $15.00 per hour.   

DeBary’s prides itself on an active and informative social media presence.  This position will assist the Communications Manager in creating fun and engaging posts to ensure our messaging is widely communicated and shared.  

The ideal candidate will be up-to-date on current social media trends and design, have experience with Canva, and possess the ability to create and edit short and long-form videos.  The ability to tell stories and create compelling and informative content is a must.  This person also serves as the City's main point of contact as necessary.  The City of DeBary has some exciting things on the horizon – come and be a part of the success of these endeavors.
