The City of DeBary is seeking an Accountant to join our Team.  Under supervision of the Finance Director, the Accountant will perform duties related to general accounting functions with a specific emphasis on purchase orders, accounts payable and accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general bookkeeping operations.  This is a perfect opportunity someone who has recently comleted their degree requirements, or an individual who is looking to move up from an accounting technician and/or clerk position.  The City prefers an applicant with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field or an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of three (3) years related experience.
