The City of DeBary is accepting applications for a Parks Maintenance Worker I to perform manual labor in parks grounds and maintenance of facility areas in all types of weather conditions. An employee in this position will be required to work rotating weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs. Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping maintenance preferred. Graduation from high school or GED and valid driver’s license required. The hourly pay range for this non-exempt position is $13.94 to $19.88. The City also offers a competitive benefit package. Occasional evenings and weekend work may be required. The hourly pay range for this non-exempt position is $12.25 to $16.53. Human Resources Responsibilities
Human Resources provides administrative and technical support services to assist in the management of the City’s workforce. Core services include recruitment, selection and processing of new employees, maintenance of the pay and classification system, maintenance of employee personnel records, administration of the City’s compensation and benefit program, and coordination of citywide employee events.Human Resources also coordinates quarterly Safety Advisory Committee meetings, and workers' compensation claims.
