To vacate a portion of the Volusia Park Plat associated with DeBary Town Center located adjacent to US Highway 17-92, north of Fort Florida Road, and south of Dirksen Drive.
Applicant and Owner, Steve Costa, is requesting a vacation of plat for the property known as DeBary Town Center. The purpose of the Applicant’s request is to transfer the property into ownership of the Integra developer, therein separating it from the larger DeBary Town Center development plan.
Vacating the existing plat is necessary for a future division of land so that the DeBary Town Center may sell the property to the developer, Integra 289 Exchange, for the purpose of constructing a 289 multi-family apartment complex and associated amenities.
Finding of Fact
The following approvals have been authorized for the Integra 289 Exchange Development:
- The City of DeBary Development Review Committee, finding no further objections, approved the applicant’s request for Overall Development approval on August 15th 2017; and
- Finding no further revisions, the City Council of the City of DeBary unanimously approved entitlement for the Integra 289 Exchange on October 4th 2017 with the adoption of Ordinance #11-17 Vacation of a portion of said plat is proper and conforms to the requirements of Section 177.101, Florida Statutes
