Summary/Highlights
On March 18, 2015, the City of DeBary City Council approved a Special Exception request to allow for outside service of alcoholic beverages and entertainment for the property located at the northeast corner of US 17-92 and Granada Road, in DeBary, FL., parcel ID# 34-18-30-10-19-004. On October 3rd 2016 the City of DeBary Development Review Committee approved Case# 15-03-FSP-Shotz; Final Site Plan for an outdoor patio/bar area at Shotz Sports Bar. The applicant requested approval of the Shotz Sports Bar Final Site Plan, providing for an outdoor patio/bar area. The approved Final Site Plan (FSP) application entitles the applicant to approximately 1,133 square feet of outdoor patio/bar area including, one restroom for men and women (each), an occupancy increase of 68 persons, additional storage, and a revised stormwater retention area. Design elements of the Final Site Plan include enhanced perimeter landscaping, pedestrian connection to the right of way, new signage, and provisions to conceal the dumpster from public visibility. Lastly, the patio shall be enclosed by a six-foot privacy wall with paint and stucco, which shall buffer the patio area from single family dwellings.  

The applicant has addressed all requirements of the Land Development Code to the satisfaction of the Development Review Committee. Finding no further exceptions, the development order for conditional approval of Case #15-03-FSP-Shotz has been issued on October 3rd 2016.

The City Council, per Ordinance 03-16, may appeal the administrative approval with the City Manager within ten (10) days after a Development Order is rendered in order to have the decision reviewed by the City Manager and brought before City Council for final review.
