Summary/Highlights
The applicants and owners, Thomas S. Recicar as Trustee and River Ranch Holdings LLC are requesting a Minor Amendment to the Riverbend PUD Development Agreement to amend language regarding trail connections within the previously approved PUD minor amendment.

Background Discussion
The subject property is 330+/- acres with Volusia County Tax Parcel Identification Numbers 07-19-30-00-00-0020, 07-19-30-00-00-0010 and 06-19-30-00-00-0070 and is located on the west side of Fort Florida Road approximately one mile from the intersection with Barwick Road.

The applicant has requested that language requiring the connection of trails to adjacent developments be removed since the existing development agreement intends for the community to be privately gated. This was originally agreed upon by City Staff and the applicant to remove this language and is coming before Council for the formal resolution to remove the language.


Land Development Code Regulations
The RPUD Amendment is consistent with Sec 3-108(h) Effect of approval; minor modifications to a PUD.


Recommended Motion
Approve the Minor Modification to the RPUD Development Agreement.
