Vice Mayor Carson, in accordance with the City Charter has assumed the role as Interim Mayor.
Background Discussion
The Charter provides for the position of Vice Mayor. The Vice Mayor is elected from the Council membership by a majority vote, The Vice Mayor shall serve as Mayor during the absence or disability of the Mayor.
