Stephen Bacon is a Graduate of Baruch College, part of CCNY with a BBA in Business Administration and Accounting. He worked for a major national public accounting firm with expertise in insurance operations. He took a position with one of his accounts, a major publicly traded insurance operation, as VP and financial officer and was US representative for a number of international foreign insurers as indicated in Am Best.
He was appointed by the City of Miami Beach as Budget Advisor for four
years and was President of a major chapter of the Insurance Accounting Systems Association. Further, he was President or Treasurer of a number of Condominium Associations, one in the Wall Street area of Manhattan composed of 1,651 units, South Bridge Towers and 425 units on Miami Beach.
In Miami he was President of an Insurance Accounting practice and represented a number of companies for an insurance exchange and numerous insurance companies and producers, both national and international. He is lectured and published with featured articles in AM Best Magazine and the Miami Herald, blogged for the Orlando Sentinel and wrote numerous articles for the Daytona Beach News Journal.
He is licensed Pilot, land and sea and Captained a forty foot Coast Guard documented vessel through the Bahamas and Keys. When he was in high school he was invited to compete in the National Indoor Ice Speed Skating event and did. He has a wall full of accommodation awards for service to the business community and philanthropic non-profits. Some of these organizations include, Post 8093 VFW Men's Auxiliary in DeBary, Latin American Producers of Miami, IASA as chapter president, City of Miami Beach, several registered copyright programs, one for accounting and one for a book written named: Rebirth of America for the American Worker. He is a former veteran of the Army Reserve with several military occupational specialty designations, as a computer technician, administrator and with medical training in a Mash Unit.
